We will go over how to set up your Silhouette/Cameo, making your first cut and purchasing designs.  You will also learn how to manipulate your designs and what all those little icons are used for.  You will receive a 10 page "bible" of all things Silhouette and some fun homework projects to get you started.

Bring your laptop and your machine and mat, we will get you cutting and creating before the night is over.

DIY Wedding Projects

Spring is a great time for a wedding, I know because we are planning one for my son this summer.

Today I have  wedding projects using PhotoPlay- We Do collection.

This is such a pretty kit, I love the Black, Sepia and Gold colors.

 

We will start with the Layout.  

There are so many pretty patterns in this kit; and the stickers are just as beautiful.

This layout is a great way to showcase photos from that special day, 

Use 3 large photos and 2 smaller ones, then let the paper do the rest.

  Invitations can  cost a pretty penny but with the help of a Silhouette and some printed cardstock, you can do your own at half the cost.

The Invite folder is a Silhouette file, but you could use almost any template or design your own.

Whenever there is a  wedding, there is always lots of other parties and celebrations to plan as well and that means you need favors.

The little wedding dress and tuxedo boxes make great handouts for any get together.

If you are attending a wedding, you will need a wedding card.

Here are just 2 examples. 

 Use stickers, papers and journaling cards, along with gold rhinestones to create your own.

Come and make a vase and paper flowers, learn how to use SVG files and create a gift for Mother’s day, a wedding or spring center piece.

New Spring Projects with PhotoPlay Paper

Welcome to Spring.  

Yesterday in Salt Lake, we had a beautiful day!  

It got me all excited for Spring and warmer weather.

Tracy here and today I also have this great set of projects for Heartfelt using PhotoPlay Paper

Spring in my Garden.

The first project is the layout.  

There are so many pretty colors , papers and stickers in this kit.  Such a great way to showcase your favorite spring photos.

Need a fun little gift or favor? 

Tie one of the little tags/journaling blocks to a small mason jar.  Fill with candy and share it with someone special.

Create a Spring Card Box with a file from Snap Dragon Snippets using a silhouette and finish it with more stickers from the collection.

Or a mini treat cup basket from Paper Closet Designs. This can be cut with cricut, silhouette or by hand.

The stickers and journaling cards make great cards.

Are you ready for Cricut Design Space class this month?

Each month we will create a project while you learn the basic techniques and some advanced skills

In March, get ready to celebrate Easter with these fun projects. You will 

  create  your own designs by manipulating Cricut files.  We will make 3 Cards and a box. 

This class uses a lot of files, but like always, you can design the project and only after deciding if you want to make them do you need to pay for the files you choose to use. 

*You must have a laptop, with wireless capabilities and a Cricut machine that is compatible with Cricut Design Space

(Cricut Explore, Explore Air, Explore one, Explore Air 2

or Cricut Maker)

If you have access to the internet via a hot spot, that would be great!
