Glam Projects featuring My Minds Eye

Friday, January 11, 2019

Aw, pink, reds, gold, flowers, jewels and dress up... it must mean Valentines is on the way.

Today we are sharing projects using My Mind's Eye "Glam" line.

There are so many unique embellishments with this line. and I tried to use a little of all of them on the layout.  Everything from epoxy stickers, to tags, journal cards and eyelets.

For the cards I used more embellishments.  The gold on everything is so fun, gives it an elegant  yet playful look.

For the 3D projects I used files from some of my favorite Digital Cut Designers.

The purse is from Lori Whitlock and can be found on her site or the Silhouette Store.
Fill the purse with small gifts, treats or a gift card.
the front pocket opens as well.

The vase is from Snapdragon Snippets.
I used a tag and another epoxy sticker to finish the look.

My Scrap chick has fun boxes, this box is designed for a small candle or bottle but I used it for a bath bomb.  What girl do you know, wouldn't love a bath bomb?

The flower center is one of the eyelets from the line and I tied on of the tags around the handle.

All the paper and embellishments can be found in our store or online.

Christmas Projects with My Minds Eye

Monday, December 3, 2018

December is such an exciting time!

Today we are sharing some festive holiday projects from our design team featuring
My Minds Eye- Jingle paper line.

First up is this simple yet fun scrapbook layout.
We used some of the Plaid and Poinsettia papers for our accents, then added Chipboard stickers and journal blocks to finish.
This layout goes together quickly but is perfect for eight  of you favorite photos.

Great things come in small packages and this little box is just what you need for a great little gift.
Fill with candy, money or jewelry.
Add a chip board flower to the front and tie a tag to the top.  Finish with epoxy dots for a little gloss and dimension.
Who wouldn't be happy to receive this?

If you still need some cards, use the journal blocks and chipboard stickers.
Its easy to create a lot of cards when you have simple supplies.

Who doesn't love something warm on a cold winter's day?
Decorate these little 4 oz mini cups and totes with red and green paper.
Fill the cups with a favorite mix.
Add a gift card to the back and you have a special gift for coworkers, neighbors or friends.

Don't forget to share you memories with those who are not near.
Mini albums are a great way to let grandparents or others enjoy the holiday with you.

Come into the store or shop online for all your holiday gifting and sharing needs.

Get Your Trick or Treat On

Wednesday, August 15, 2018

I know with all this heat it doesn't seam possible, but Halloween is on its way and will be here before you know it.

Today I am sharing projects  made  from PhotoPlay Papers- Trick or Treat Line.

Photo Play - Trick or Treat Collection Pack

This line is full of beautiful colors and great Halloween finds.

For the layout I used the Sketch for the August Challenge and lots of stickers from the sticker sheet.

*if you haven't tried the challenge yet, give it a try!

The cat card is made using one journal block, some printed paper and the happy Halloween sticker (with pop dots).

The second card is also made with bits of paper and 2 stickers.
Both cards are easy and quick and a fun way to share a little "spooky" greeting.

Because this is halloween, I wanted to create some different ways to share treats with your
co-workers, neighbors and those little witches and goblins who visit your door.

The first box is the tall Triangle Box from Lori Whitlock.  The box can be cut on either  a cricut or silhouette or you can find a template to use with the Scor-Pal

Next up is the bag in a box.  It is made from a 6 x 6 piece of paper and an Envelope punch board.

The fold over box is also made using a punch board.

I posted a video explaining how to make both boxes.

If you have extra envelopes laying around, an envelope bag is a great way to share a treat as well.
These bags go together in just a couple of steps.

The last two projects are use made using supplies you probably already have at home.

Simply wrap tissue paper around a toilet paper roll or small box and tie with some twine.
Finish with some printed paper and a little sticker.
Inexpensive but cute!

Now its your turn.
What are you doing to get ready for your little Trick or Treaters?

Stop by the store or shop online to get your supplies

This layout is a great way to show off some of the pretty paper and embellishments.

This pop up card is perfect for that tween who loves her selfies!

Love this little card and so easy to do with a digital cutter.

Spread Your Wings Design Team Project

Monday, June 25, 2018

Thank you for stopping by!

Tracy here from Idea Closet, with another design team project using Photo Play Paper
this time I am using the Spread Your Wings Collection and I have to say I am in love.

The layout is a little more on the simpler side but it works because of all the fun paper and stickers.
I added a journal tag in the corner and lots of stickers from the sticker page.
The scalloped circles were cut with a punch I had in my stash.

The shadow box is a different way to use some of the journaling cards and makes a great home decor piece.
File comes from Silhouette/Lori Whitlock.  Decorate the box with stickers.

Candy is always appreciated and makes fun little gifts or handouts.

Nugget sleeves are easy to do, this one comes from one of my own files and can be purchased from Paper Closet Designs.

To make an M&M bag, fill a zip lock 3 x 4 cello bag with pretty M&Ms.
Make a very simple fold over card and decorate with stickers.
Almost to pretty to open.

To finish this set, I made two cards.
This card was made with one of the stickers from the sticker sheet and a boarder printed piece cut with a boarder punch.

The last card was made using the Circle Flip Card File from
Add a few more stickers and you have a trendy card great for celebrating a friend.

This set was a lot of fun to play with! If you want your own set come on into the store or shop online.
